At PEM Law LLP, Jessica focuses on handling claims related to sexual harassment, discrimination, state and federal whistleblower claims, breach of employment contracts (express or implied), intentional infliction of emotional distress, battery, breach of fiduciary duty, and violation of restrictive covenants. She represents corporate defendants as well as individual officers, directors, or employees facing personal lawsuits for sexual harassment, discrimination, negligent supervision, fraud, and negligent misrepresentation.

She also represents employers in various contract and tort actions, including those involving restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and other employment agreement violations. Notably, Jessica has successfully litigated claims concerning alleged trade secret theft, securing or defending against temporary restraining orders and injunction applications.

In addition to her litigation prowess, Jessica takes a proactive approach to prevent or resolve employment disputes before they escalate to costly litigation. She provides comprehensive counseling on compliance with federal and state discrimination, family and medical leave, whistleblower, and wage and hour laws. Jessica assists with employee terminations, discipline, performance management, and develops customized employment practices training sessions and employee handbooks to ensure compliance and prevent workplace issues like harassment, bullying, and discrimination.

Jessica is also skilled in advising clients on non-competition and confidentiality agreements, waivers of discrimination claims, and conducting thorough investigations to ensure compliance with employment laws across various sectors. Prior to joining PEM Law LLP, Jessica honed her expertise at a national law firm within its labor and employment and business litigation groups, where she litigated diverse matters including trade secret misappropriation, unfair labor practices, single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and whistleblower complaints, as well as wage and hour disputes and employment practices liability insurance claims.

Jessica’s legal acumen is further complemented by her experience as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Ernest M. Caposela, A.J.S.C. (Ret.) of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic Vicinage.
