Corporate Transactional Associate

Position Summary:

Location: PEM Law LLP, West Orange, NJ

Practice Areas: Corporate Transactions, Non-Profits, and Political Law

We believe that doing is the best way to learn and your success will be determined by your talent and work ethic, not years of practice. You’ll work directly with seasoned lawyers who will teach you how to problem solve, advocate and negotiate fearlessly for clients, and help national clients achieve their goals. You’ll work with key stakeholders to prepare formation documents, bylaws and operating agreements, and contracts. Projects may include corporate transactions, political-law compliance, and non-profit formation and operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2-5 years of corporate law experience (judicial clerkship experience a plus).

• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

• The ability to think strategically and creatively under pressure.

• Strong communication skills and a willingness to take initiative.

• Admission to New Jersey State Bar. Admission to NY, CT and/or PA is a plus.

What We Offer:

PEM Law offers health, dental and vision benefits, as well as eligibility for the firm’s 401k plan. The salary range is between 100,000-160,000, depending on experience.
